The four stages of Chinese construction machinery sealing technology

The development of China's construction machinery sealing technology has gone through more than 50 years of history. From the first difficult start to today's rapid development, China's construction machinery sealing technology has made important contributions to the development of China's construction machinery industry. The development process of engineering machinery sealing technology with rubber and plastic seals as the main body of application can be roughly divided into four stages.

   1. The initial stage (1960-1970)

During this period, the working pressure of the hydraulic system of China's construction machinery products was roughly 12-14MPa. The seals used for the sealing system are: 0-shaped rubber seal ring (NBR); iron shell-cowhide rotating oil seal; corrugated steel skin ten cork ten metal Spring end seals; asbestos packing; asbestos ten rubber seals; V-shaped seals (cowhide ten phenolic ten bakelite); V-shaped seals (NBR ten clip fabric): soft will be seals and so on.

   2. Entrepreneurship stage (1971-1980)

During this period, the working pressure of the hydraulic system of the main products of China's construction machinery was roughly 14-3.5MPa. The seals used in the sealing system were mainly rubber and plastic seals, and the cowhide, asbestos fiber and corrugated steel skin were eliminated. End seal. The main types D are: 0-shaped sealing rings (NBR, FKM); floating oil seals for track D undercarriage (metal ring dry 0-shaped drawing); D in-frame skeleton rotating oil seals BR, FKM, ZACM). Hydraulic and pneumatic reciprocating seals D have 0-shaped sealing rings (NBR, FKM); U-shaped dense D shot rings (NBR, AU, BU): V-shaped sealing rings (NBR ten clip fabric); cup-shaped sealing rings ( NBR ten clip fabric) etc.

   During these 10 years, in order to meet the development needs of medium and high pressure hydraulic technology such as construction machinery and forging machinery, seven professional rubber and plastic seal production plants were established by the original machinery department. In addition, in order to promote the development of China's sealing technology, the "National Hydraulic and Pneumatic Standardization Technical Committee 1" and the "National Hydraulic and Pneumatic Standardization Technical Committee Rubber and Plastic Seal Standardization Sub-Technical Committee" were formed in 1975 and 1979 (with the old ISO/TCI3 /SC7) and the Fluid Sealing Sub-Committee of the Tribological Society.

  3. Consolidation and development stage (1981-1990)

  The working pressure of the hydraulic system of the main product of domestic engineering machinery has reached 16-40MPa, and the seals used in the sealing system are still dominated by rubber and plastic sealing products. The main types are: O-ring seals (NBR, FKM); floating oil seals for track undercarriage (O-shaped figure ten metal ring); seal assemblies for lubricated track tracks (NBR+AU): inner and outer skeleton rotating oil-producing ten ( NBR, FKM, ACM, EPDM); combined sealing washer (NBR + metal); hydraulic cylinder piston and piston rod are dynamic dense. Coaxial seal assembly (PTFE+NBR) for seals; dynamic hydraulic return oil seals (NBR, FKM, ACM) for rotating shafts; and pressure-resistant rotary oil seals (NBR, FKM) with a working pressure of 1?3MPa; bidirectional medium rotary oil seals (NBR, FKM), double-acting reciprocating D moving seal assembly (NBR+PTFE+POM) with supporting ring for hydraulic O cylinder piston, etc.

   4. High-speed development stage (after 1991)

  Construction machinery and other medium and high pressure hydraulic industries have introduced a large number of product manufacturing technologies, which has promoted the pace of foreign seal merchants entering the Chinese seal market. The entry of foreign capital and technology has improved the overall level of my country's sealing industry.
